This Forum last for two days. Over 400 flower lovers and 100 plus media and experts of various industry were present. They were industry elites from China, Japan, France,UK, Australia, Holland, Hungary, Russia, etc., and companies dedicated to promote high-quality lifestyle as well as top domestic and international media. Piet van Kampen, Legend of Flower Auction Alsmere, famous international flower trade expert and floral design trend observer, came as the last speaker. He brought a mysterious gift to us: he named a new type of tulip as COHIM! This also shows that Chinese floral design has made itself on the world stage.展开
On the banquet, florists from different countries expressed their willingness to come to Cohim and to share their design philosophy with Chinese students. They all attach great importance to such international communications, and recognize the great effort that Cohim has made in floral education industry.
As a pioneer of Chinese floral education industry, Cohim set up Cohim International Florist Club, which is committed to help Chinese floristry shorten the distance between different platforms and break through the barrier between different industries, in order to have stronger voice on the global stage, and at the same time, inspiring more florists to get involved in the reformation and revival of Chinese floristry from broader perspectives, and with multiple design languages.
Fleuramour is a 4 day event being held from 22nd September to 25th September 2017 in Alden Biesen, a historical castle in Belgium . Fleuramour is one major event focusing on the advances and developments in the field of floral culture. Flower lovers and designers will be given a wonderful chance to take a look at the exhibitions.
This year the event is focused on ‘CULTURE’. The present florists will florally style their creations through the worldview and way of life of a people, but also through other values, customs and traditions of certain cultures.
As the only independent Chinese space floral design group invited, Cohim’s arrangement is themed as “mountains and waters” , dedicated to showcase the charm of Chinese traditional culture.
